To the Heirs of the Deceased Mohammad Abdulmohsen Al Kharafi for their contribution in building
and furnishing Al Kharafi Activity Kids Center.
The Mission of the Center :
To provide a specialized, safe and interesting environment that ensures the right to play for all
children with diverse abilities all year round filled with a joyful, hopeful and adventurous.
Chairperson Welcome Letter :
Every child has the right to play. It is through play that the child can learn and grow. Play is also an
opportunity to discover the child from within, which will help in understanding the needs and the thoughts
of all children. Play should be offered in a safe and nurturing environment to foster the growth of the
individual
s personality and intelligence, and support other educational institutions in achieving their targets.
Al Kharafi Activity Kids Center provides a specialized, safe and interesting environment that ensures the right to play for
children with diverse abilities all year round, filled with joyful, hopeful and adventurous atmosphere.
This exciting learning environment not only includes disabled kids, but welcomes in their families as well. Parents come to know the needs of
their children and observe their cognitive and social maturity. By doing so, we educate the society and allow them to recognize the natural
need of kids with disabilities to play, and understand the benefits of including them within the society.
Al-Kharafi activity Kids Center is a result of the collaboration of private and governmental institutions, along with the donations of generous
and kind people. Those efforts have created a bright model of private-government partnership, which is deeply rooted in Kuwaiti society.
Sanad Kuwaiti Foundation for Disabled Children has been established to support this charitable effort, and Al Kharafi Activity Kids Center is
now one of its esteemed projects.
Finally, I would like to thank all those who participated and supported the mission of the center. May God bless them all and accept their deeds.
